Kenyon A-Section Mast Tube
Kenyon A-Section Mast is currently out of production, having generally been replaced by the stronger Kenyon B-Section Mast. If you require a replacement Mast, the Kenyon B-Section Mast is recommended in all applications where the “A” Section was formerly specified.

Masthead Assembly for A-Section: K:22A
Cast aluminum Masthead Assembly for A-section Mast incorporates (2) Delrin sheaves for External Main halyard of wire or rope. Does not provide for headstay or backstay attachment. Masthead attaches to the mast with (2) 3/16″ screws or rivets.
Spreaders:
The Kenyon A-Section Mast is normally used with Kenyon 1/2″ or 5/8″ round spreaders. For Spreader details, or to order replacement Spreaders, see Kenyon Spreader Sections.
Aluminum Spreader Bracket Assembly: K-365
Aluminum Spreader Bracket Assembly for A-Section Mast. Cast bracket has curved base to fit Mast Section and incorporates tabs to fit 1/2″ OD Standard Spreaders. Spreaders are attached with a 1/4″ clevis pin (included), and are free to swing fore and aft. Bracket is 2 3/8″ high x 7/8″ wide and projects 1 1/8″ out from the side of the mast when mounted. Bracket attaches to the mast with (3) 3/16″ (#10) fasteners, top and bottom holes are on 1 5/8″ centers.
Sail Slide Stop: K-11198
Sail Slide Stop works to keep sail slides from coming out of the sail entrance when the mainsail is lowered. Aluminum Slide Stop is 7/16″ diameter x 1″ long with SS thumb screw, thumb screw features captive nylon washer to prevent damage to mast surface.
Mast Step Casting: K-111A
Mast Step for A-Section fastens to deck or keelson. Base size is slightly larger than A-Section Mast. Cast in 356 Aluminum.
A-Section Mast Accessories
Spar Cleat – 3 1/4″ long: K-1617
Cast Aluminum Spar Cleat is a low-profile design with a narrow base suitable for use with line up to 1/4″ diameter. Black Epoxy Cleat is 3 1/4″ long, and fastens to spar with (2) 5/32″ (#8) FH screws. See also, other Kenyon Spar Cleats.
Downhaul Cleat – 3 1/4″ long: K-1108
Downhaul Cleat mounts in luff groove of Mast. Unit consists of K-1617 Spar Cleat mounted on a 6″ length of 1/2″ OD anodized Aluminum tube. Tube slides into luff groove, screws are tightened to lock Cleat in desired position. Black Epoxy Cleat is 3 1/4″ long, and fastens to spar with (2) 5/32″ (#8) FH screws.
Clam Cleat w/ Fairlead & Curved Base: K-9115X
Clam Cleat with fairlead is used in place of standard Spar Cleat for frequent adjustments in racing applications. Suitable for use with 1/8″-1/4″ (3-6mm) line, black plastic unit fastens with (2) #8 x 3/4″ FH Screws on 2 5/8″ (66mm) centers. Unit measures 3 1/4″ long x 11/16″ wide (82x18mm). CL203 CC Jr.
SS Eyestrap: K-226
Small Stainless Steel Eyestrap is used for securing smaller items to Mast. Attaches to Mast with (2) 3/16″ (#10, 5mm) screws or rivets.
SS Eyestrap on Slide: K-1300
Small Stainless Steel Eyestrap on slide mounts in luff groove of Mast. Used primarily for attachment of downhaul block or dead end of downhaul line, unit consists of K-226 Eyestrap mounted on a 3″ length of 3/8″ OD anodized Aluminum tube. Tube slides into luff groove, screws are tightened to lock Eyestrap in desired position. SS eyestrap fastens to tube with (2) 3/16″ (#10) RH screws.
Cheek Block w/ Curved Base: K-140X
Cheek Block with curved base is used on smaller Kenyon Masts for leading halyards aft. SS Cheek Block has 1 1/16″ OD Delrin Sheave suitable for use with line up to 3/8″ diameter. Base is 3 3/16″ long x 7/8″ wide, and fastens to spar with (4) 3/16″ (#10) RH screws on 2 11/16″ x 1/2″ centers.
